For Your Weekend…

Like any busy music blog, Digital High’s inbox gets hit up with submissions ranging from the ridiculous to the ridiculously good, that this one dude can’t possibly keep up with. So I’m going to batch post the best of the bunch every Friday to help you groove on into your weekends. It’s my chance to spread even more exposure to the deserving artists out there, enjoy.

Wez – Touch You There
– stepping out with his first official single, the promising beatsmith drops a wedge of warm trop-house complete with inviting rhythms and enticing steel drums
CMC$ ft. Stevie Appleton – Those Lights
– the Dutch din-dealer drops a more mellowed approach to electronic dance, complete with gentle rhythms and a vocal feature that sets the listener at ease
Vallkyrie – Queen
– this hybrid of Eastern-tinged hip-hop and tribal trap goes hard with its abundant use of percolating percussion and Arabic-resonating riffs

Nightshifts – All Along
– hailing from Toronto’s sonic underbelly, this up-and-coming beatcrafter offers up a synthful soother created through evocative instrumentation and emotion alike

Salt Ashes – Wilderness
– characterized by sedated disco undertones and ponderous lyricism, the young soloist’s latest is a portentous piece of pop payoff

Rocks FOE – Nitty Gritty
– and off of the UK rhyme-spitter’s purely raw EP Fight The Good? Fight, intense instrumentation and ominous lyricism take center stage
