If you’ve ever wondered what Kings of Leon might sound like if they introduced a violin into the mix, you’re in luck this morning. Orange County four-piece Pick Up and Run have mastered that blend of grit and grace on their newest release “Can’t Trust Myself.”

Previewing their upcoming EP Struck [out March 6], the cut ebbs and flows between demonstrative riffs and fragile draws while a percussive element carries the bulk, but its lead singer Cole Caldwell’s emotional connection with the magnetizing melody that stands tall.
