Very much akin to early Taylor Swift, the singing-songwriting Brit has penned a bop about the trials and tribulations of young love, but with a melancholy twist. Juxtaposed against a warm melody full of ticklish strings and lively percussion, are lyrics that paint a somber picture of a participant scorned by a sense of seclusion.
