If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably caught yourself wondering, on more than one occasion, what Davis Mallory from The Real World: Denver has been up to since leaving the cameras behind. Well today we’ve got our answer.
The one time reality-tv star has bounced from one entertainment medium to the next, now pursuing a music career in Nashville’s bustling scene. The singer-songwriter has mostly made a name for himself perfecting the latter, having written hundreds of songs with notable names like Parson James, Roger Murrah, and Bonnie Bishop but he’s kept busy releasing originals of his own. Last summer saw debut EP LOUD make a modest impact while his first release of 2018 looks to capitalize something stronger.
“Sun & Moon” is a funky pop piece full of rich grooves and smooth vocals, a welcomed reintroduction to the soloist. But the good time vibes don’t end there, check out his newly minted visuals suited perfectly for June’s Pride festivities. I have a feeling I’ll be keeping closer tabs on Mr. Mallory from here on out.
