Flying below Digital High’s radar this summer was one of the year’s more inspiring tracks, “Warriors” by soul-stirring soloist Allen Stone. Released back in June, I’m a little contrite in saying its only catching DH’s attention four months later. But sooner or later good music has a way of making itself known!

An anthem for those triumphing over discouragement, the cut materializes around quick hitting percussion and funky riffs before erupting into an exultant sing-along as Stone’s robust vocals soar through hook and verse. Speaking on the track he says:

I had felt like I was just pushing a big rock up a hill while wearing flip-flops. I was reminded in that moment that true success comes when you face adversity head on and push through those moments of hardship.
