Leave it to a Londoner to tap into the indomitable spirit of these present United States. Songwriting in Los Angeles now, solo act Josh Beech shows us there’s a light at the end of the tunnel known as chaos on his new release “American Current.”

Composed alongside collaborators James and Joe Dzuris, the alt-pop piece conveys a message of optimism in these trying times with lyricism and vocals built by earnestness. Couple that with a propulsive bass line and riffs that excite the senses and he’s nailed American resolve in melodic fashion.

But that steadfastness isn’t exclusive to us here in the States, of course. The concept is universal, really opening up this song for a global reception.
