Sometimes a song comes along that fits a feeling so perfectly it could only be the work of some divine intervention. That certainly seems to be the case with Couchsleeper’s latest Only When It’s Dark preview “Sleepless,” a perfect soundtrack to my current bout with insomnia.

Actually inspired by the anxiety surrounding an unresolved relationship, the Vermont act’s alt-rock record romances listeners with a careful blend of bold riffs and subtle percussive elements before a climactic build of instrumentation and vocal payoffs; enough to finally set a racing mind at ease…or so I hope!
