Music is a force that connects individuals from all walks of life and from all corners of the world, something truly global. Take for instance “Know You Best,” a track that wouldn’t have come to fruition if it weren’t for an international gathering of dance music’s best and brightest.

Born out of a meeting at last year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, the bangin’ house cut is the creation of a Candian beat-crafter (Famba), an English producer (Jake Tarry), and an Australian singer-songwriter (Alex Hosking).

That original meeting of the minds would result in an entirely digital effort due to the ensuing pandemic, but there was no lost luster. Retro house rhythms play off contemporary pop melodics for a flashy finish, but it’s the intoxicating vocals of the young soloist that put this piece over the top in the end; a true connection if there ever was one.
