After absolutely impressing with last year’s anthem of anthems “Cheap Queen,” King Princess shows no signs of wear with 2020’s latest release.
“PAIN,” a precursor to her sophomore studio effort, is a jaunty, piano-led number but don’t let the merrymaking fool you. This one is all about the ills of lopsided relationships, something the singer-songwriter opens up about so refreshingly. It’s that mix of sweet and sour that makes this one so delicious.
