Todrick Hall – Bells, Bows, Gifts, Trees

This one goes out to all my LGBTQ+ and LGBTQ+ friendlies…I want to see you prance! That’s the directive put forth by the all things fabulous Todrick Hall on his seasonal celebration “Bells, Bows, Gifts, Trees” and it’s a jolly one.

A re-versioning of the singer | songwriter | dancer | you name it ‘er’s “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels” for the holidays, this take is a little bit more merry but just as fierce. An injection of big bells into the dance-pop groove is the first timely twist but it’s the lyrical adjustments that make this a charming delight. From Covid call-outs to an Alexa cameo and a bit about cracking nuts, there’s a lot to unpack in the most festive way.

And this isn’t Hall’s first foray into Christmas-themed tunage either. His previous work portraying Miss Triple X-Mas aka Cleavage to Beaver on Fox’s Bob’s Burgers gave us the campy treat “Twinkly Lights” to snack on a few years back.

But for now enjoy the current goody with a stream below, grab a copy for yourself, and spread that social love:
