Despite notching a few Ws in his young music-making career, Aussie soloist Hauskey can’t seem to find a reason to celebrate on “Go Wrong.” But not all is so bleak.
Despite that melancholic mood permeating the alt-popper’s lyrical gist, lo-fi riffs, peppy percussion, and a buoyant horn section lift the listener. And its in that juxtaposition that the true merit of the song shows.
