Leaving behind various projects past, brothers Austin and Alexander Ward and vocalist CJ Calhoun have joined sonic forces to form the new outfit Scores and debut a take-notice track “Talk Flood.”

Written in the wake of the Ferguson protests (but unfortunately still relevant today), the beat-driven cut straddles the lines of alt-rock and indie-dance with its heavy drum and modded synth use but it’s the candid lyrical content (with an eye on police brutality and gun violence) that strikes hardest. All in all it’s a complete sound and an instant hit for the newly minted act.
