With the famed portrait painter serving as inspiration, LION BABE create an artful soundscape of their own on “Frida Kahlo.”

The lead single from a newly announced project Rainbow Child is bright, bubbly, and full of bounce, lending itself fittingly to the influence it celebrates. Lofty riffs set the tone, only to give way to synthful bass and house-touched percussion and a little flute to complete the aesthetic. It’s a nice little tune and even nicer homage.
