Don’t get me wrong, I recognize Olivia Rodrigo is a talented vocalist and one of pop’s brightest acts, but for whatever reason I can’t get hyped about her unless someone has flipped one of those bops into something much different.

First it was Vandelux and now that trust falls to ZEXTONE and Juan Dileju and their future house take on “deja vu.”

Gone are the psychedelic sonics of the original pop turn and instead a rich piano-line leads the way before the bass and synth take off. The rest is a welcome bpm surge and overall lift to this listening experience.
