There’s been far too much hype around all the bad that the pandemic has to offer, but there are some positive stories if you look hard enough. Take for instance Social Order, a hodgepodge of musicians from former acts who came together in the darkest of days to create thoughtful and lasting listens.

Post-punk at their core, the newly minted mates offer up the synthy sounds of “In Your Eyes” as their most recent release. It’s a welcome output, pairing galvanizing rhythms with effective lyrical musings, and a welcome introduction to one of Covid’s success stories.
