Conceived “after a couple of drinks and some nostalgia talk,” The Main Squeeze make something of it on their latest “Make It Right.”

The fresh five have taken that spirited inspiration and cooked up a delicious piece of soulful funk rife with rhythm and relish. Dutiful percussion and seemingly everlasting riffs intertwine with brass trappings as lead vocalist Corey Frye let’s loose a falsetto-rich verse and hook. Ain’t nothing wrong with that!
