The world is on fire, from unjust aggressions to police brutality to dehumanizing subsets of society, and there’s no end in sight. But Hope Tala is doing her part to fix that with a sonic remedy of sorts, her plea “Is It Enough.”
Love is the answer according to the West London singer-songwriter and she’s getting that message across with impactful verses over a subtle instrumental. Speaking on the inspiration behind the cut, she shares:
This song has been a long time coming. I’ve always wanted to write a song about the things I care about, but it took a long time to work out how I could do that in a way that felt true to me, my storytelling style, and my artistry.
The final piece is well worth the wait and a moment to absorb and really reflect on.
