Dabble in a little disco as Canadian beat-crafter Sleepy Tom drops his new groove “This Thing Called Life” ahead of a forthcoming EP later this year.

Described by some as “a funkadelic palette of colourful rhythms,” the dance cut connects four-on-the-floor accents with shimmering synth play, never missing a beat. Speaking on the process, the producer shares:

I wanted to make a collection of songs that were going to lift me out of my funk. I was looking for music that could satisfy my club cravings, while also leaving room for melody
