The first release from the Dublin-born, Brighton-based bard since his no matter what I say. project, this dance-pop selection is a decidedly upbeat affair given the context but its in that juxtaposition where this track excels. The incorporation of a euphoric, disco-tinged bounce against a melancholic backdrop has created a moment of euphoria in an otherwise hapless scene.

And it’s friggin fun.
