Isla Rico, fresh-faced creatives in the alt-pop space, are blossoming into a musical force worth paying attention to. They impressed something special with previous offering “maliblues” and are keeping their momentum reinforced with the buoyant follow-up “Wavelength.”

Promoting a “don’t sweat the small stuff” ambience, the Manchester three ease listeners into an accessible melody defined by lush riffs, bouncy percussive bits, and a nice touch piano part. And they continue to excite with good-natured lyrical content to match the mood. Speaking on the track the band expounds:

As the song came more and more to life we realised we had something that not only perfectly encapsulated and emoted the band’s ‘carefree good times’ philosophy and message, but also something that musically that classic and timeless…[This song] is by far our favourite track to date from us and we can’t wait to launch it into the world and spread the positive mindset message!”
