JP Clark – “NUMB”

NYC-born+Nashville-based creative JP Clark has found himself in some kind of musical malaise on new tune “NUMB.”

Yearning for that feeling of vitality again, the soloist supports his search with this soundscape of alt-pop vigor colored with modern rock accoutrement. But it’s the crooner’s candor resonating most strongly here. He explains:

[This song] started back in 2018 during a heavy time in my life, when the things I used to escape were ironically leaving me feeling more trapped…At its core, it’s about wanting to feel again, even if it’s messy or a little scary.
