Nashville-based alt-indie outfit and cardio-carb enthusiasts Post Sex Nachos release another taste of their upcoming, Aaron Wagner produced album Big Bad [out Sep. 18] with the new single “All For You” and it’s a harbinger of the gains to follow.
The new tune finds the band grateful that they get to tour the world playing music, but not without a sense of being homesick. And while the cadence ebbs and flows with optimism and energy, the lead vocalist Sammy Elfanbaum does share:
[This song] as written at a time where I was pretty down on touring — not playing shows, but just being away from home. It’s wishing that I could have the best of both worlds, living this life of playing my songs to people without leaving my city, leaving my fiancé and animals behind. It’s a long-winded love song for those who stay at home while their partners work on the road.
That push and pull of wanting it all while craving a slice of normalcy comes through in spades and sets this listen apart as one to hear.
