You wouldn’t know it the way the temperatures have been soaring here in the District the past week, but tomorrow is officially the first day of Summer. Coincidentally, maybe purposely, NYC’s KOPPS just released the perfect companion track to go along with the start of the warm season.
Raising your internal temperature from the outset, “Thermometer” is thumping garage pop perfected. Driven by that deep percussion, Patricia Patrón blissfully maneuvers through one heat related allusion after the other, until you’ve exhausted yourself by the climax.
