I am currently taking part in an exercise of patience, a road trip up the 95 corridor [DC to Stamford]. My co-participants; a sister and one of her friends [the captain of this exploit]. But what is a good road trip without an accompanying soundtrack? So far we’ve heard from Coldplay, Eminem, Evanescence, Justin Timberlake, Josh Groban, Keith Urban, and…Wheatus. Eclectic to say the least. But the crown jewel has to be “Rumors”, no not Fleetwood Mac’s classic album, I’m talking the magnum opus from Lindsay Lohan. I guess there really is a silver lining to every cloud.

The latest addition to my own multifarious playlist is the dancefloor rattler “Monster” from Chicago twinbros Milk N Cookies. Featuring the scintillating Alina Renae, this smooth big room titan is both seductive and frenzied. The flirtatious melodies draw you in but once that crazy “drop horn thing” hits there’s no turning back. I hope you’re happy with your speaker setup because they’ll be getting a thorough workout with this one.
