When the all-star collaboration “FourFiveSeconds” dropped a month ago I was less than enthused, I was uninterested. Rihanna, Kanye West, and “newcomer” Paul McCartney’s melancholy folk-pop cut, the lead single off of RiRi’s upcoming eighth studio album, left me yearning for something more than the limited and downplayed production offered up. Enter Dutch sensation and remix guru Afrojack, who through a simple four-on-the-floor fix steers the subdued and somber submission back to the heartening and hopeful dance-pop realm, and in the process flips the original into a groover we can all appreciate:
