It may be premature but I’m ready to make a bold proclamation after listening to German hit-crafter Felix Jaehn’s latest. “Cool,” latest taste of his upcoming debut I, is going to be one of 2018’s bigger tunes and a surefire Digital High year-ending fave.

The trop-pop collaboration, built for repeat radio plays, boasts an inviting bounce with traces of steel and a brass arrangement that only serves to enrich the intoxicating melody. And the two featured players, soloist so-sleek Marc E. Bassy and calculating rhyme-spitter Gucci Mane, bring their best to round out this bumpin’ crossover.

But don’t take my word for it; stream tomorrow’s smash today. And be damn sure to give I some attention when it drops Friday 2/16 c/o L’Agentur.
