The 1975 – Love It If We Made It

Premiered earlier today on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show, The 1975 shared their second offering of the A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships era with “Love It If We Made It.” Follow-up to last month’s “Give Yourself A Try,” the new cut represents a commentary on societal decline, referencing Donald Trump, the international refugee crisis, and there’s even a Lil Peep name drop; all over a dreamy synth-pop playground.

It’s one of their more compelling releases of late, juxtaposing a salient lyrical approach [‘Modernity has failed us’] against the backdrop of upbeat pop patterns, but you’d expect nothing less from the Brighton lads always willing to push the envelope in the name of art.

Stream the new single below, grab your own copy courtesy of Dirty Hit, and keep those ears open for A Brief Inquiry… set for release this October!
