The 1975 – TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME

The A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships fanfare is upon us in earnest and this sonic supporter couldn’t be more thrilled. After releasing the glad-to-have-you-back “Give Yourself A Try” and satisfyingly bold “Love It If We Made It,” the album’s first two previews, The 1975 checked in with Phil Taggart, filling in for familiar friend Annie Mac today, to premiere next taste “TOOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME.”

Another Hottest Record In The World premiere, Matty Healy describes the bop as honest fun despite its infidelity scope. The cut trends more upbeat than its two predecessors as a dancehall-tinged percussive element sets the tone while glitzy synths and 80s inspired melodies are spun for the contemporary sphere.

Complementary to some of their biggest tunes “Girls” and “The Sound,” the new record should find similar successes as a tune light in tenor but rich in musicality. Stream below, grab your own copy courtesy of Dirty Hit, and keep those ears open for A Brief Inquiry… hitting retailers this October.
