Panic! At The Disco – Hey Look Ma, I Made It [Been Sleeping On]

Led by a slew of alt-pop pleasantries, Panic! At The Disco’s sixth studio effort Pray For The Wicked dropped in the dawning days of Summer ’18. Tracks like “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” and “High Hopes” set a blazing pace, but it was a key promotional single that piqued these ears’ interest.

“Hey Look Ma, I Made It,” a pop-focused anthem of perseverance co-written alongside famous friends Michael Angelakos and Dillon Francis, immediately lifts your sonic spirits with electrifying riffs, a bouncy bassline, and an undeniably catchy hook. And when you consider the visual accompaniment features a muppetized Brendon Urie blowing rails, you can’t help but feel the warm fuzzies.

At the time I didn’t think its charm would last, but here we are nearly two months later and this bop has undoubtedly endured to become a DH rotation mainstay. A sleeper no more, stream this triumphant heavyweight below, grab a copy of PFTW courtesy of Fueled By Ramen, and spread some social love:
