A synth-pop opine on mental health, this newest falls somewhere between a contemporary chill-out and 90’s block-party starter with its abating melody and funky West Coast grooves. But its the lyrical bent beneath the piece that ends up resonating so soundly as Madeon reveals an unexpected susceptibility and the sojourn in overcoming.

While his sonic repertoire is seemingly brimming, it’s refreshing to see a broadening of skill-sets along the way.
