New York newcomers All Them Squares are making take-notice noise on only their second release “Sleep.”

A follow-up to last year’s “Crash and Burn,” the new tune is another roaring rock offering rich in instrumental and melody. Driving rhythms tell part of the story before vocalist Cece Vile’s candid lyricism fills in the rest, making for a mix that is both catchy and consequential.
