After taking time to re-evaluate his sound during the pandemic, Bryce Avary aka The Rocket Summer [a one-time, alt-rock outfit], re-emerges with a decidedly different approach on new tune “M4U.”

Opting for an electro-R&B appeal, the creative nails the aesthetic with hints of dance-punk and industrial along the way. But it’s in the pointed verse and hook that this reset really finds its groove.

It’s safe to say this new direction is both welcome and well-received.
