Only released a few short weeks ago, Petey enters the year-ender conversation with his USA project and highlight of highlights “I’ll Wait.”

Initially woo’d by the fantastic “Family of Six,” Digital High became an instant fan only to be wow’d by the album’s remaining alt-rock sound and meaningful rumination, found most notably on track two. The central theme, crushing anxiety, is a familiar one but made to sound almost manageable through driving rhythmics and an irresistible vocal underpinning.

Pardon the cheap play on words, but don’t wait on this one.
