Chad Hugo ft. Tierra Whack & Leikeli47 – “Jumpupw!nya”

For fans of the pioneering duo N.E.R.D., responsible for much of the early 00’s bounce – the solo debut of the lesser known half Chad Hugo is a long time coming. But his collaboration “Jumpupw!nya” was well worth the wait.

Featuring two baddies of the scene Tierra Whack and Leikeli47, this dance-rap spectacle is a quick-hitting, tour-de-force (seriously this cut checks in just under two minutes). But the three creatives make the most of their limited opportunity beating and banging around this drum-heavy heat.

Turns out dude doesn’t need Pharrell to make a hit.
