It’s not exactly easy taking on a cut as well-received as Drake’s personal sojourn “God’s Plan,” but that’s what makes George Moir’s bid so fulfilling in the end.
Every bit bubbly and effervescent, the UK soloist’s lo-fi spin is a stylistic 180 from the trap-tinged original, but it’s in that departure where the new cut shines. Speaking on the release, he says:
It was a challenge to try and keep it feeling real and genuine while still staying true to the original. It’s a modern classic after all!
A worthy compliment through and through!
